SALES ENGINEER,
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for sales, calculations of quotations, cost control and support of marketing activities.
Responsibilities and tasks are:
- Support business development with quote cost calculations
- Structure costed BOM, and manage cost feedback loop over project time
- Maintain relations and improving business with existing and new customers
- Translating customer requests to solutions
- Research of new markets and gaining market share
- Setup outlet channels for motorsports and high performance market
- Setup product and pricing strategy
- Synchronizing supplier and customer requirements
- Managing commercial tools & marketing (Website, shows, media)
- Managing profitability
- Give input in APQP project meetings

Communication:
You will work together with business development, supply chain planning and engineering. Liaise with purchasing, suppliers, sub-contractors & customers. The English language (Minimum C1 level) is required to communicate internally, with suppliers and customers. Speaking the Dutch language is preferred.
Experience and education:
- You will be qualified to (Business) Engineering, Ba / BEng Mechanical/Automotive/Aeronautical Engineering.
- You will have a minimum of 1 year commercial experience, ideally within an automotive, or aviation environment. Experience with APQP, ISO/TS16949 or AS9100 is preferred.
- Occasional visits to client and supplier sites will be required, a full driving license is necessary.`
