Design Engineer,
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design & development of high end automotive, aviation and motorsport turbo systems. Based on customer, supplier and internal inputs you will manage the design, development timing, validation and quality of the project.
The applications you will be working with range from high-end luxury and sportscars, motorsport, Formula 1 development, Formula 2, GT3 and LMDh, high power marine diesels, General aviation engines to future technology predevelopment engines.
Responsibilities and tasks are:
- Component design
- Creating and securing technical specifications of projects
- Translating customer requirements to specification
- Development of new technologies
- Supporting engineering with new business, customers and markets
- Support design for manufacture & assembly
- Creating D-FMEA
- Support quality engineering with P-FMEA
- Give input in APQP project meetings

You will be part of the engineering team supporting sales, purchasing and production.
Liaise together with engineering with suppliers, sub-contractors & customers
The English language is required to communicate internally, with suppliers and customers.
Experience and education:
- You will be qualified to Engineers, Ba / BEng Mechanical/Automotive/Aeronautical Engineering.
- You will have a minimum of 1 year design engineering experience, ideally within an automotive, or aviation environment.
- Experience with Catia is preferred
